Depending upon the mixing of different ingredients, there are three types of ready mix concrete (RMC)
It is also known as dry-batched concrete because the basic ingredients like water are directly charged into the truck mixer.
The concrete is mixed partially in the plant mixer and then balance mixing is further done during the transit time in a truck-mounted drum mixer.
Also known as the central batching plant. The concrete is mixed thoroughly before it is loaded into the truck mixer. The plant is sometimes also called pre-mix plant or wet-batch.
